Salesforce to Hire 12,000 Employees by Next Year

Salesforce, a global cloud software company based in San Francisco, USA, will hire 12,000 employees over the next year.

 

Salesforce CEO and co-founder Marc Benioff announced via a tweet that the company would be adding 4,000 new employees in the next six months, and 12,000 in the next year.

 

“Salesforce will add 4K jobs over the next 6 mos & 12K over the next year. Join our 54K employee strong Ohana defining the future of software. Salesforce is the world’s fastest growing Top 5 enterprise software company. jobs@salesforce.com,” he wrote.

 

With the COVID-19 pandemic forcing people to stay and work from home, Salesforce's online business software which supports remote work and e-commerce has witnessed a significant demand.

 

The software maker currently has headcount of nearly 54,000 workers across the globe.
